The Role: We have an exciting full-time 12-month contract opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team based at our processing facility in Harvey, WA . You will be critical in managing capital expenditure Projects for Harvey Beef. You will be responsible for implementing Occupational Safety and Health systems within the group, maintaining a personal commitment to the safety management process and compliance to the safety management system as per Safety Procedure 2001-2000-000 whilst overseeing and ensuring the company’s Values, Policies and Procedures are enforced. Key Responsibilities: Effective management of multiple projects from start to completion. Undertake responsibility for onsite safety and establishing sites in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements. Possess a detailed knowledge of the project scopes, contracts and project time frames. Ensure all projects are managed within budget, completed on time, meet, or exceed project margins, and comply with all statutory/regulatory/code requirements. Monitor progress of projects to ensure that milestones and performance indicators are met, preparation of reports as required. Identify and manage all variation requests as required. Identify and manage risk; Assess and escalate areas of concern/ risk when identified. Coordinate all procurement activity including subcontractors associated with the delivery of assigned projects to maintain a central point of contact, registration of procurement activity and to ensure all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to. Manage defect rectification. About You: Tertiary qualification desirable. Minimum 5 years of experience in an Engineering/Construction project management role required. Experience in the food industry is desirable. Sound knowledge of the Contract, Specification and Scope of Works. Experience in controlling all aspects of the project from start to completion. Experience in handling multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity. Strong technical knowledge of the Construction, Civils processes. Join us in shaping the future of Harvest Road.
